About Escare Incorporated

Escare Incorporated Management CommitteeEscare Incorporated is a non-profit community organisation that develops and delivers practical assistance through services that are relevant to the people of Esperance, Western Australia.

Escare Incorporated offers assistance to families and individuals who need Financial Counselling, information and referral, advocacy, NILS loans, skills development, childcare services and youth services.

Escare Incorporated's aim is to increase the capacity of individuals and families to manage all aspects of their daily lives.

Escare's key result areas and objectives..

  1. To provide a sustainable, viable organisation with the capacity to meet the increasing needs of clients and the community.
  2. The provision of relevant services appropriate to the needs of the community.
  3. To ensure that our range of services and associated activities are known and understood within the community.
Escare Management Committee

Escare Incorporated is managed by a local Management Committee who meet on the 4th wednesday of every month, with the Escare Coordinator.

Annual General Meeting

Escare holds its AGM annually on the 4th Wednesday in September. This is held in at Lotteries House, Esperance Western Australia.

Escare encourages interested individuals and organisations to become members of Escare's Management Committee. To be involved as a management committee member, nominations are required.

Funding for Escare Programs

Today, Escare Incorporated is primarily funded to run the 'Family Support' programme ( Dept. for Communities), 'Financial Counselling' and 'Youth' programme (Department For Child Protection (DCP).

Escare also receives modest subsidies from the Commonwealth Government to run the Before School, After School and Vacation Care Programmes.

In addition, Escare has received Adult Community Education (ACE) grants from the Department For Education & Training as well as capital item grants from the Lotterywest.
