Escare Childcare Services

Escare Chiuldcare ServiceEscare administers the Esperance Outside School Hours Care under the Commonwealth Governments Outside of School Hours Childcare programme.

After School Care, Vacation Care and Before School Care, are collectively known as Esperance Outside School Hours Care.

What does Outside School Hours Care Offer?

Esperance Outside School Hours CareOutside School Hours Care offers quality childcare for pre-primary and primary school age children.

It provides an environment which encourages creative play, spontaneity and provides security and care until the children are collected.

Esperance Outside School Hours Care is fully licensed under the State Department For Community Development guidelines. The service has recently received National Quality Assurance accreditation.

All areas tested were of at least satisfactory levels; most were above or highly satisfactory. Well done to all the dedicated staff at the centre. Parents can be assured that the service aims to be of the highest quality and is regularly checked under the above measures.

Outside School Hours Care primarily assists working parents as well as parents who are studying or looking for jobs. It may also be used by parents requiring respite, or on 'Work for the Dole' projects.

Before School Care

This programme runs on school days and allows you to drop your child off at the George Street Centre from 6.30 AM onwards, where we will provide your child with a shower, if necessary, a healthy breakfast, get them ready for school and drop them off to school in good time.

After School Care Service

This programme runs Monday to Friday between the hours of 3.00 - 6.00 PM.

Play leaders collect the children from school and transport them to the George Street Centre. Afternoon tea is provided on arrival at the Centre.

A wide choice of supervised activities are offered which encourage children to interact with their friends at the Centre. Homework may be undertaken at the Centre at parents request.

Vacation Care Service

This programme provides supervision to children during the school holidays, Monday to Friday, between 7.45am to 5.30pm. The service is also available on pupil free days.

Varied activities and excursions are developed for each holiday period. A programme is available to parents each holiday period.

Escare Childcare Fees and Fee Relief

Unfortunately, governments funds do not fully cover the costs of running Escare Childcare Services, so parents using these services are asked to pay a fee.

Most families, however, are eligible for Child Care Benefit, through Centrelink, that significantly reduce fees.

For a full explanation of fees, times and availability of each of the childcare services, together with information on Child Care Benefit, view the Escare Childcare Fee and Booking Information
