For children, parents are the most important role models.
They watch how you act and copy you in their play and when interacting with their friends.
Fathers role model how a man relates to the world, and in particular how a man relates to women.
Your daughter will learn about male-female relationships by watching the way you act.
So it's important that she sees you acting in a caring and respectful way with your partner. She will need plenty of examples of good communication between mum and dad, to learn about positive male-female relationships.
