Smith Family Ceases Community Partnerships

Unfortunately, the  Smith Family "Learning for Life" (LFL) Scholarships will no longer be offered in Esperance. The Smith Family have ceased their partnerships with all community partners (such as Escare) as part of their recent strategic plan.

Escare regrets this development. The families who are currently on Smith Family scholarships will continue to be sponsored and managed via the Perth office.

New Escare Committee

The Escare AGM was  held on the 28th of September with a Management Committee elected.

New members are always welcome. Call 9071 3110 if you are interested in being part of this important Community service in Esperance.

Pay It Forward

The Escare Youth service have been holding a "Pay it forward" programme to assist people in the local community this Winter.

The Young People with Escare Youth Worker Nat Symonds, have held a blanket drive, Soup drop off, made wheat bags and distributed them.

The group has had fantastic support from the local community and on these cold days and nights (and increased electricity charges) the blankets are really appreciated.

The Young people involved attend a regular Wednesday afternoon group at Lotteries House.

My Time

MyTime groups provide local support for mums, dads, grandparents and anyone caring for a young child with a disability or chronic medical condition.

Parents can socialise and share ideas with others who understand
the rewards and intensity of the caring role.

Group meets fortnightly at Lotteries House.
Please contact Lorette 9071 3110 for further information.

Escare is proud to be in partnership with "Ngala" in Perth to provide this group.
