There are many helpful services in Esperance that can assist families
in a variety of ways.
Much of Escare's work involves putting people on the "right track" by linking them to a service that can best help their current situation.
NILS Loans
Escare is a member of the NILS (No Interest Loan Scheme) Network, and the local agency through which NILS operates. This scheme assists people, on low incomes, in the purchase of white goods for their homes. Loans of up to $1000 are possible to pay for a fridge or washing machine.

Information, Advocacy & Resources
Escare offers confidential assistance in the form of problem solving and strategies to help individuals and families manage difficult times in their lives. This includes parenting issues, Tenancy Issues, Family Court matters and community services. The Family Support Worker is able to advocate for people in some circumstances.
Escare has a wide selection of books, pamphlets, tapes and videos on parenting issues, child development, relationships and self development. These are available for loan for individuals, families and groups.
Escare operates a branch of the Kalgoorlie Parenting Information Centre from the Escare office. It is a free service with lots of up to date parenting resources to borrow.
