Play Workshop  - Adult Learners Week 2006A wide variety of community services and groups are available in Esperance, that assist parents with issues such as; babies sleep strategies, health & safety, crying babies, childcare, breastfeeding and much more.

Escare run workshops for parents and have included "Parenting the Primary Years and "Parenting pre-teens and teens" as well as "Protective Behaviours".

Child Health Nurses
They also provide a wealth of information on Childcare, Childhood Development, Childhood Diseases and Immunisation. For parents there Ante-Natal and Post-Natal information, including help with Post-Natal Depression.

The Child Health Clinic
An open clinic on where children aged 0- 4 years are screened ... immunization, baby weighing, childcare advice, chat to nurse etc.

Thursday Mornings 9.00AM-11.00AM, or by appointment.

Community Nurses
Provide advice, education and help in health related matters.

Dietitian
Takes referrals to see individuals as well as education groups such as 'Introducing solids'.

Parenting Groups;
Including; New parent's Group, Thursdays 9-11 @ Community health, Triple P Program, Parenting Toddlers and Post-Natal Depression groups.

Women's Health Clinic:
Advice, education and support in women's health issues including pap smears.
